Hearthstone strategies: All Basic Spellpower Druid

All Basic Spellpower Druid
This deck centres around Swipe and decent control. Use the spellpower minions carefully and you can clear the board efficiently. Wild Growth is a great opener if you go second, and if the opponent burns cc on your medium minions the Ironbark Protectors will cause serious problems late-game... This is all basic cards, so all you need to do to build it is level a Druid to 10 :)

Strategy

Save the spellpower minions for use with spells, especially  Swipe - with a couple of spellpower minions it turns into a fireball and flamestrike in one :D You can replace the  Gurubashi Berserkerand  Darkscale Healer with  Archmage if you want a little more punch.  Innervate can let you cast 3 4-cost minions in one turn late-game, or let you dominate the board early in the game - it's up to you :) If you're looking for a couple of Expert cards to add in,  Druid of the Claw is common and very versatile.

Card Notes (5)

Minions

  • Wolfrider x2 - these guys are handy removal, or nice surprise damage, especially if you can combine them with Mark of the Wild

Spells

  • Mark of the Wild x2 - this can be used offensively or defensively, but I'd recommend casting it on a minion on the same turn you attack with it
  • Savage Roar - mini-bloodlust - this affects your hero too, so it's good either as control or a finisher
  • Swipe x2 - use this with spellpower minions out and you can make it powerful enough to target the hero and still kill all his minions :D
  • Wild Growth - good opener, but if you use this on turn 10, you get a new card that lets you draw a card for 0, so it's sometimes worth waiting
